Kudos to Rick Santelli

Kudos to Rick Santelli of CNBC to have the courage and integrity to fight this bad mortgage plan from the new administration. We are racing towards socialism and I fear for the U.S. Who thinks we still have freedom of speech in this country? Who thinks we have freedom of the press? The Republican and Democratic Parties have collectively led the American people down a perilious path to our demise. I am a former Democrat turned Republican, turning and looking for a new party and a new way with new leadership. We need a political and cultural reawaking in this country by the people our leaders claim to represent. My mother G-D rest her soul had been saying for the last 20 years we were heading towards Socialism and was scared and shocked. Why? She grew up in Austria and lived there when Hitler marched in and annexed the country. She had seen socialism, communism and fascism first hand. She was proud to call herself an American. Not Austrian-American, just American. Where are the patriots? Not in Washington. Where are the people that love America, love free will, love self determination? We should bail out a government that started this financial calamity during the Clinton Adminstration with deregulating the housing industry so everyone can own a home, then the greedy mortgage industry and the people taking out loans they couldn't afford and finally the rating agencies who rated these mortgage back securities as AAA, when it was crap?!
